Another round of edits for a tedious job that took all morning. We had a firm meeting this afternoon in which we looked at various scenarios impacting the bottom line of the firm. For worst case scenario, layoffs will occur, probably in Winter or early next year, but the likelihood of that happening is about 25%. The more likely outcome is everyone stays on, no bonuses or salary increases this year, and we tighten the belt. Still, reviewing all possibilities made everyone feel nervous. Slowly catching up.
Kevin and I played a little bridge tonight. I made a few rookie mistakes. It happens. Perhaps with a little more practice I'll be quicker.
