Day - 1351

Tuesday, April 14, 2020

Worked from 8:30-10:30 and 3-4:30.  Gardened with Alice for an hour.  Didn't practice today...maybe tomorrow.

I enjoyed Obama's clip endorsing Joe Biden.  I'm delighted the primaries are over and we've selected our savior to defeat the Orange menace.  What began in South Carolina continued on Super Tuesday and beyond.  It's so similar to what happened with John McCain in '08.  The Dems seem ready to win this one.  They should.  Not excuses in this election.  Everyone's prepared to go out and vote for Joe.  Trump loss will feel like the fall of Hitler and Stalin.  Then comes the work of rebuilding, reshaping, after this pandemic.  Many things will change, including a heavy lean-in toward socialist tendencies, which is ironic, given the landscape only a few short months ago.

Had pork chops for dinner.  So good.  Alice flips them every 2 minutes 4 times and they're always cooked to perfection.

Drove back to Oakland around 9 and rolled out the garbage cans onto the curb.  Went to bed early.
