We began our day in Okinawa, Japan after exercise, the Izumi spa and breakfast. It was muggy, hot and somewhat cloudy.
We left the port and walked a few blocks before realizing we should probably take a cab to the fish market Alice wanted to visit. A cab swung by and we arrived at the fish market in under ten minutes.
We bought large pieces of fatty tuna sashimi for $10 each. So good!
After the fish market, we took a cab to Okinawa's downtown area. Alice bought a big roasted purple yam, the kind she used to have as a teenager. We went to the nearby Starbuck's and ate our yam with latte and tea.
Our seats were a great place to people watch.
We walked down a few walking street, then headed back to our ship.
