I woke up early and drove over to Alice's at 9:00. We had lunch on Geary St. with Alice's aunt and uncle, Elaine, Nathan and Geraline. It was very good.
After lunch, Alice and I watched a documentary on Catherine the Great. I started reading a memoir by one of the Russian aristocrates whose mansion we visited in Saint Petersburg, Felix Youssoupoff. His memoir, Lost Spendor, is fantastic and full of great anecdotes.
