Up early to prepare for Chinese New Year lunch at noon. Alice cooked four dishes while I helped her out and cleaned upstairs. We all ate so much food. A very enjoyable family gathering.
In the evening, we headed to Davies Symphony Hall for a fantastic concert featuring Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 4 and Prokofiev's Violin Concerto No. 1 performed by Gil Shaham. The first piece was a world premiere by Steven Mackey. So good! Review
