We left Alice's at 6 a.m. and drove to Starbuck's on Lakeshore Ave. We had coffee and bagels, then hung out at my place for an hour before getting a Lyft at 8:15. The Oakland airport was quiet and we had no trouble with our flight to LA. From LA, we again took Lyft to San Pedro and hopped on our ship at around 1:15 p.m.
The Emerald Princess set sail a little after four. It was a pleasant afternoon and so nice to be back on board a cruise. Alice really loves them and so do I. What's not to love?
