We ran through all three pieces in rehearsal tonight. I hit a lot of the notes and missed entire passages that were too fast. Oh boy...lots of work in store for me before the concert in April. Wednesdays are always so long and brutal.
I'll need to spend extra time on the Debussy this week. I've been spending my time on the Wagner, getting the notes in my fingers, so I've forgotten how to play certain phrases in the third movement of La Mer. Such an amazing, amazing piece!
