I spent the day with Alice, resting, watching Bill Maher and Downton Abbey, and FaceTimed a few people, including Brenda Arend and Emily. Emily went to school in Arizona for a semester, but things didn't work out for her and now she's back at home. She's visiting me and Alice in three weeks. I love spending time with her; she's such a great person. We've always had a special connection. I drove home after ten and immediately went to bed.
