The verdict was a relief. We all saw what we saw, and the prosecution presented its case in a way that reflected the truth. The jurors responded appropriately to that truth. Truth, justice and the American way. Words to live by. I would add one more word to this catch-phrase. Truth, justice, empathy and the American way. If we carry on with these principles, we'll be all right.
