Tallinn, Estonia (Day 6 at Sea)
Our day in Tallinn, Estonia began at 9 a.m. We walked from the ship into town, about 15 minutes away. The skies were clear in the morning, but like many other days this week, clouds would form by noon, and by early afternoon we had showers.
Old Town is a beautifully preserved medieval fortress with narrow streets, cobblestone roads and lots of character.
We ate lunch at a restaurant recommended to us in Rick Steves's Guide: "Vanaema Juures." It was delicious and very friendly.
Alice bought a really cute souvenir before we headed back to the ship.
We were back by 4 and headed to Saint Petersburg by 5. Dinner was good and the desserts were better.
Alice enjoyed the luxury of the Enclave inside the Lotus Spa. Off to bed early. A full day tomorrow in Saint Petersburg, Russia!
