I bet there are a lot of these photo bombs in folks' past in America. It makes me wonder what's lurking around in my high school year books. This one by the governor of Virginia is particularly disturbing and insensitive. There are probably a lot more of these on the East Coast and South than in the Pacific Northwest. What a troubled history we have. I'm reading a very good book right now that brings some of that troubled history to light:
This is such an interesting book about the history, development, institutional support and traditional beliefs of racism in America. Powerful stuff and full of details that bring a greater understanding to the great curse of this country.
