Drove to Ivy's at 9 for a haircut, then we headed to Oakland for lunch at Rhonda and Biff's and dinner at Howard and Leslie's. But first, we stopped at Whole Foods for dessert that we're bringing to Howard and Leslie's. We only had time to drop off bags at my place, then headed to Rhonda and Biff's in Montclair.
We had such a nice visit. Rhonda cooked a delicious quiche and salad. So good.
We exchanged gifts and chatted for a couple hours until it was time to go. We headed back to my place and hung out for a few hours. I took a very short nap. Then at 6 we headed to Howard and Leslie's.
We had another fabulous meal and talked about all the things we love to talk about, politics, travel, reading, cooking. Leslie had just returned from China so she had all sorts of stories to share.
We left at 9:30 and headed back to the city. A full, wonderful day!
