Very quick at work today, allowing me time to read pieces from the 1619 Project that the New York Times has put together. It's a reassessment of American history with the effects of slavery more prominent in the overall American narrative. It's compelling. The very nature of who we are as a nation is being reconstructed based on those stubborn facts and details of history.

After work, I went to the gym for our sixth league night of the summer. I won five and lost two. I always seem to lose my final two games of the night. We have one more week before the playoffs begin. It's all about the partner, so hopefully I'll be paired up with someone who will give us a chance to win it all.
