We cleaned Alice's guest room for her new arrivals this evening, then went on a short bicycle ride to the Cliff House. We bought popovers and stopped at Amy and Patrick's for a short visit. The kids were there and we listened to a few Cal Berkeley stories. Patrick talked about the pre-Hass snakes and how compulsively competitive, cutthroat, undermining and sabatorial the Business School is. It's quite a different environment from what Saint Mary's offers.
In the afternoon, the Mueller Report finally came out. Well, actually, the report is still a big secret. The Attorney General Barr's letter briefing Congress on the primary findings of the report came out, and I have to say, what a bunch of total bullshit this Barr letter, and the entire neutrality of the findings, are. Gag. How on earth does this evil ringmaster get away with his evil circus act? Now we have to listen to this clown brag about how he's squeaky clean because there was never collusion...yeah right, Mr. Upstanding play-by-the-rules Asset with Roger Stone and Paul Manifort in his camp, playing by the rules. What a lot of wasted air on this neutral report. Step aside Mueller so that Stormy Daniels and the SDNY can roll up their shirt sleeves and properly charge this criminal thug with something. There's so much more to life than this nonsense. Time to take a break from this epic disappointment. I'll come back when there's another indictment, but at this point I won't hold my breath. Pathetic cowards.
Did a little research on our upcoming Japan trip using OneNote. Great program! It's so easy to clip anything onto pages and keep them organized. I love OneNote.
Practiced a bit in the morning and evening. The Rachmaninoff is such a great, haunting piece.
In bed by 10:15 p.m.
