What a brutal day. With our flight from Seattle at 5, we left Nicole's at 2:15 a.m. That meant no sleep at all. We were still playing games at 1:45.
It rained fairly hard along I-5. We stopped for gas, dropped off the rental car, checked my bag, and got through security with about 20 minutes to spare before boarding our flight. I actually slept most of the way to Oakland. It felt like the shortest flight I've been on, but waiting for my bag at the carousel, I did not feel well at all. We took a Lyft back to the city, which dropped me off and took Alice home. Work was busy in the morning but dead in the afternoon. I came home, had a quick bite, and went right to bed, sleeping through the night.
