Spent the day in Los Altos with Alice's cousin Elaine. Elaine's family has a new dog, Hazel, who's friendly and sweet, but can't handle seeing other dogs. We went for a dog walk and Hazel about had a heart attack.
The Lees also have a bird, Mr. Baby, who was awfully fond of Alice.
We always eat well at Elaine and Wayman's house.
We stayed until past midnight. The moment I came home, I brushed my teeth and hit the hay.
