Spent all morning and afternoon preparing for the Oscars party, which started at 4. The regulars were in attendance and there was more food than was necessary. I was surprised Stallone lost Best Supporting Actor and I haven't seen Bridge of Spies yet so the win by Wolf Hall actor Mark Rylance didn't mean much to me. The other awards were expected except for Spotlight for Best Picture. It's a great film, but I thought The Revenant was the year's best.
