Slept in until 6 this morning, then went home from Alice's and prepared for a morning of jury duty. Thankfully, I wasn't called and was dismissed by noon. I walked home from the court house, a clear, cold morning that brought out all the beauty of Oakland around Lake Merritt. The rest of the day was quiet. Still recovering from last week's flu, but certainly feeling better. Now it's time to tackle a few Christmas gifts and holiday plans at mom's and Gwen's.
