I wrote in the morning, then hung out with mom from lunch until I went to bed. We saw Django Unchained this afternoon.
Another very strong film by Quentin Tarantino. The last 20 minutes were excessive and unnecessary. Once Christoph Waltz is gone, the film looses much of its magic. But aside from the ending, this is one of the better Quentin Tarantino films. I'm not surprised this came after his Nazi film. He's always inspiring.
I leave for Oakland tomorrow. I've had a wonderful time with mom in Mesa, Arizona.
